Tuned up with a solid Tamworth. Can get off the mark. SAMOAN ROMAN (7) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1400m at Bathurst, finishing fifth and beaten 2L. Open to improvement and looks one of the main threats. MOON TREATY (11) spotted them a big start last time at Scone but did manage to make some late inroads. Mixing his form but is best efforts look up to this. STORMY MALICE (13) was too bad to be true last time but her second-up effort wasn't bad. Giving one more chance in a thin contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Quirky Princess to win.
