Strong early tempo with Royal Gladiator and Family Of League leading the way.
HOLY FLASH (1) has been in the money at his last four and is getting closer each time. Stalked the pace then let down nicely but missed by a whisker last start over this distance at Doomben. That form is strong enough to win a race of this calibre. In-form mare KEIKO SAY (6) missed the kick last start over 1400m at the Gold Coast but recovered to finish just half a length away in a Class 4. Might have to do some work from the wide draw but with even luck she is a serious threat. DON'TCHA THINK (2) returns from a four-month spell. Has raced five times first-up for a win and three minors. Trialling in good style so a bright start to this prep looks likely. KUNDABUNG (8) has been out of sorts of late in longer races. Last appeared over this trip at Doomben in June and wasn't beaten far under 60kgs. Can turn things around. HEROIC MISS (3) has eight top three finishes from 11 runs at Ipswich so expect her to perform better this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Holy Flash to grab a well-deserved win.
