RED LABEL (11) needed her first run back from a spell, and then improved quickly to finish second here 2 weeks ago when trying to make all the running. She is peaking at the right time, and can take them all the way this time. MIRAQUA (8) only battled over 1600m here a fortnight ago, and dropping back to 1400m should suit him. HIs best form is up to any in this field, and he could add some top 4 value for any combos. KOPUTAROA (3) had an excuse fresh up here nearly 4 weeks ago, and will have a senior hoop replacing an apprentice this time. His stable is firing up, and he would not be a shock winner. DAKOTA (6) won by a short-head on the turf here in April, and then ran on late for sixth here last time out. She has been given time to get over that last effort, and from a good gate, she is worth including on ability alone. EPILOGUE (12) fought gamely for second here last time out, and he is another who is normally very competitive at this level. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miraqua and Koputaroa at each way value.
