MORLAIX (5) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over this track and trip. Finds a suitable race and can make it to the winner's circle. LOCA BELLA (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Gawler, finishing fourth. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. No reason she cannot find winning ways. FLYWAY (4) made a strong late bid only to just miss last start at Gawler. In the right race and is a key runner. CHARTIN (14) knuckled down strongly to get within a nose of the winner in second last start at Balaklava when resuming. Johnstone sticks and has built a good association. Gets his chance to break a long run of outs. CRADLE OF JAZZ (11) only warmed late here first-up when nabbing fourth. Better for that, though will likely drift a long way back from the draw. Watch for her late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Morlaix to win.
