From the inside gate American Image will dash through and lead from Gokana and Ziolite. PARTAY (5) stormed home from a mile back first-up to miss by a head at the finish. Up to 1400m now should suit and the form out of that race has already been franked. Looks ready to go to another level know and he can get the job done. AMERICAN IMAGE (11) found one better on debut over 1000m at Bunbury but she was strong late in the race there. Her breeding suggests getting out to this trip is a bonus and the inside draw suits. Carries now weight after the claim of Martinan and it wouldn't surprise to see her improve sharply. WHITE HOT (9) comes through the same race as Partay where she finished 3L off the winner. The extra trip looks right up her alley and she can sit a touch closer from a good draw today. Can make her presence felt. LORD MOMO (3) was 3L off the winner at Bunbury last time out when the race favourite and comes back in trip. Leading chance. MYSTIC CHAOS (10) can improve on a disappointing performance last time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Partay looks the one to beat.
