Only a small field with Shooter Mcgavin likely to find a comfortable lead. Open race - none of them would truly shock. Leaning to SHOOTER MCGAVIN (2) who has finished second in all four of his synthetic track runs, giving a bold sight up on speed here in a similar race last time out when only run down by a long neck. Gets every hope from the soft draw and there doesn't look much pressure so he can go one better. MISS MAHJONG (4) struggled in a much stronger race at Caulfield Heath last time but had been coming along nicely prior and boasts an imposing record at this track which is key. She'll be very hard to hold out. TEMPRANILLO (5) resumes. She's a handy mare who tackles synthetic for the first time. With even luck from the inside she'll be running on strongly. TAN TAT DELIGHT (6) was well bet second up at Sandown Lakeside and wasn't far away. Ready to fire now and can improve. MALE MODEL (3) was good last time and has claims off that.
