FILO (6) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at this track with success over 1400m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. SIENA QUEEN (7) went forward last start over 1230m at this track and held on well for third, beaten 1.1 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot salute. IRON OVERCOME (8) turned in a modest performance when eighth last time out over 1400m at this track, beaten 17 lengths after being in contention on the bend. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. VENICE QUEEN (5) was beaten 3 lengths into sixth in a 1230m contest at this track last time out. No surprise to see her in the mix.
