Off the low draw Sky Cap should lead at a genuine tempo. TOGETHER WE VALUE (4) flew home to miss by 1.3L at this track and trip last time out and now gets Purton on board. He draws slightly better today and his recent form stacks right up in this event. His recent figures say he's a little better than what he showed last start, so if he can run up to his best, he'll be hard to hold out. HORSEPOWER (1) is knocking on the door, finishing 0.8L off the winner his past three outings. His record at this track and trip is strong and he rates highly on his recent form. Will need some luck from the barrier, but if he gets the breaks then he's expected to be right in the finish. ROBOT LUCKY STAR (12) comes back to 1000m today where his maiden victory came after a strong performance over 1200m here as the race favourite. He remains right down in the weights and while he may be looking for a drop in class, his recent form suggests he's in this up to his ears. SKY CAP (9) is better than he showed last start and can bounce back in this scenario.
