Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Mrs Maree. SISTER DAAE (7) put the writing on the wall last start at her second run back from a spell, winding up powerfully to be beaten in a photo over 1400m at the Kensington track. Comes back 100m in trip which is a small knock, but she might race a pair closer from the inside gate and launch from there. MAMUSHKA (4) raced without cover over this course and distance last time out which may explain her poor finish to the race. Trialled well since and on her day is up to winning a race like this. Worth forgiving. MRS MAREE (6) continued her excellent form of late with a determined win over 1100m here three weeks ago. Placed at both tries over today's trip. Getting deep into her prep but keeps stepping up under Nash's urgings. DEEP PLEASURE (2) has been beaten under a length at her last two outings and has raced with no luck on each occasion. Key runner if her fortunes change this afternoon. INFUSION (8) will appreciate a drop to midweek company at the third run back from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sister Daae looks ready to win.
