Highly Anticipated is expected to cross from a wide gate and lead.
NOT USUAL MOANA (12) built his form nicely and showed a quick turn of foot when winning her maiden at Te Rapa last start, and now that she has strengthened up, she can take the next step immediately. MORNING COCOA (8) was a beaten favourite at Te Rapa last start over 2200m, and it was reported afterwards that she may be looking for a wetter track. Dropping back to 1600m won't be an issue on heavy ground, and she can make amends. Follow your money. RADRADRA (6) was an overdue maiden winner in his penultimate start here when ridden positively early on, and then settled too far back last time out on the poly course at Cambridge 5 weeks ago. He is worth another chance in this. FINAL REASON (11) lifted late and showed a lot of grit when winning his maiden by a nose at Te Aroha last time out at only his third ever start. Stick with him in this. PREDOMINANCE (5) won his only start last prep in December, and his recent spell would have done him no harm. He benefits from a 4kg claim. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Not Usual Moana each way in a handy field.
