LOTUS SILK (1) finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1200m at this track when fresh from a spell. Steps up in journey today. Richard Fourie who has two wins when partnering stays on. Will strip fitter so expect her to feature. TOO LATE MY MATE (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only a head from the winner at the end of 1600m. On the quick back-up and looks nicely placed to feature in the finish. DUPONT EMERALD (5) finished a nose from the winner in second last start over 1600m at this track. Has a strong record this course, scoring at two of four starts. Backing up quickly and is one of the contenders. LADY BOMBER (2) disappointed last start when out of the placings over 1600m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
