Expecting Odontoglossum to lead Nishino Steadymiki at just a moderate tempo. ODONTOGLOSSUM (5) took advantage of the good draw and sat on the pace last start before tiring to finish sixth over 1400m at this track. Will be handy in the run and could prove hard to run down. CARBONADO (10) did little and finished sixth over 1400m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. NISHINO STEADYMIKI (4) finished fourth at her last appearance over 1400m at this track on June 10. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. TOSEN PASSO (6) was fifth in a 1400m contest at this track at his latest appearance. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
