Returns to the 1400m where he is already a winner and goes well here. Looks tough to beat again. NORDIC (1) has been thereabouts last couple and both in richer grade. Best form is here and placed only try here at the trip. Top chance. PONTMEIRION (4) is fitter for three runs in and has placed at last two - both here at home. Looks ready to show best and shapes as one of the better hopes. VERY GRATEFUL (8) very missed on the Pakenham synthetic latest over the same journey and best figures measure up. Can break through with the right run. MAGIC EDITION (9) is in great form and was a soft winner last time in this class over the same trip. Must be included again.
