COMIC GIRL (2) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten half a length after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to find winning ways. LUCETTA (8) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but faded to finish eighth over 1400m at this track. Worth including in this suitable contest. LA VALSE (3) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1500m at Urawa, beaten 2 lengths. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
