CONGELAMENTO (1) missed the frame two starts ago on the dirt at Mizusawa but followed that with a win, also on dirt, at Morioka Dirt over 1600m three weeks ago. In great form and rates to win again. MERMAID (6) missed the frame two starts ago on the dirt at this circuit but followed that with a win on the dirt surface here over 1400m two weeks ago. Hard to knock on current form. Pay to follow up. GOLD JUMPER (7) finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1400m at Mizusawa after being in contention on the corner five weeks ago. Steps up in distance today. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give backers a great sight. PAJAMA PARTY (4) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Can sneak into the finish.
