Expecting Alpine Rose to lead Bomerton at just a moderate tempo. PRIDE OF JEZZA (2) ploughed through the heavy (10) going when getting off the mark at start ten with a dominant win over 1400m at Wagga. The map looks much better for this, and he should have little trouble seeing the mile out. The one to beat again. FLUTTERBY (5) deep into her prep and starting to hit her straps. Strong late when coming from well back to finish second over 1600m at Albury. Can race closer from the better gate and figure prominently. BOMERTON (6) gives the impression the mile will suit after failing to sprint with them when sixth last time out over 1400m at Corowa. On the quick backup and race fitness should see him take a hand in the finish. LOST YA SOCK (9) holding her form and a win looks imminent. Adept in all conditions and like the way she held on when third over 1400m at Corowa. Down in the weights and must be respected. SUGGESTED PLAY: Priode Of Jezza to win again.
