Plenty of pace likely from Zouandme, Spoiler and Volare battling for the lead from Diva Rouge. DIVA ROUGE (3) is a promising type who was in the placings on debut on a soft track here at this trip two back. Surrendered the lead last start before coming again to finish fourth over 1000m at Scone. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Looks the one to beat. MYSTIC WAY (5) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Good effort to kick-off last prep with an eye-catching third at Walcha over 1000m. Set for a bold return. VOLARE (8) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was prominent at the corner before tiring into fourth over this track and trip. May be suspect in the going but cannot be ruled out. SPOILER (7) hit the frame two starts ago over this distance at Port Macquarie on a soft surface before failing more recently at Grafton. Not reliable but worth including in exotics. SHE CAN DANCE (6) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and is not out of the equation. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Diva Rouge.
