That was the first time that he had missed a cheque on this track, and in an easier field, he should finish a lot closer. On top. VINNIE'S SPIRIT (1) is a very consistent type who has finished in the money in both of his starts this prep. He slides down in class and is ready to go one better. DEVILS DELIGHT (4) was a sound fourth here 9 days ago and was an all-the-way winner in a similar field to this before that. Stick with him on an each-way basis. POMPEII EMPIRE (5) will be on the quick backup and is poised to put his best hoof forward here. Each way value. CRAZY BRAVE (6) is heading the right way with his form and ran on strongly for second here last time out. Include in all combinations.
