Expecting Ti Tree Royal to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out. WITCH OF NOVEMBER (8) improving mare who gets a much better set up today fifth up. Covered ground from the draw when a respectable third over 1000m at Wagga on the heavy (10) track. Concussion plates come off and finds a suitable race. Goes close with the weight drop. HARD TOO IMPRESS (2) holding his form and due for a change of luck on the backup. Closed strongly with the 60.5kg when third over 900m at Wellington. Handles the conditions and will relish the extra ground. Each way player. MAGNOLIA STAR (9) kept fresh for this after disappointing when ninth over 1000m at Wagga. McDougall retains the ride and expected to bounce back with the weight drop. TI TREE ROYAL (7) won well first up, before fading in the straight to run eighth over 1175m at Albury in the heavy conditions. Fitted with a 900m tick over trial win and the tongue tie goes on.
