Shabby Chic has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. GLARE MIRAGE (8) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished in tenth last time out over 1150m at Fukushima Dirt four weeks ago. Steps up in journey today and drops right back to a much easier race. Can put an end to his winning drought today. JACKAL'S SON (3) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 1400m, beaten one length. Cherry-ripe now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from three starts. Among the leading chances. LUX DELPHI (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 6 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a far better run. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. SHABBY CHIC (4) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to find some form.
