From the outside gate Thoughtful can push forward and take up the running in the absence of a genuine leader. HELLS SON (1) failed on the quick backup from the wide gate when sixth over the 1000m at Narrandera. Drops back a couple of levels and can return to winning form. CONNEMARA QUEEN (6) comes to hand quickly and didn't get conditions to suit when a fast finishing sixth over 1104m at Kilmore. Strips fitter and will be strong late. TALUK (4) near her top and proven in the conditions. Snagged back from the draw and covered plenty of ground in the run when a respectable seventh over 1200m at Corowa. Drawn out again and out wide could be the right place to be at this stage of the day. Keep safe. SALUTE AGAIN (2) Wagga-trained gelding who will find this much easier after running respectable races in Highway class at his last two outings. Claim helps and adept in all conditions.
