Genuine tempo from Force Gate leading Monet. KITANO TOPAZ (2) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only fourth over 1400m at this track. Better than the last effort - appeals this time. MONET (3) resumed over 1400m at this track last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by half a length. Open to plenty of improvement and looks a big threat to the top selection. MIND BLOWN (12) was a dominant winner last time over 1600m at this track, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Is yet to miss the frame from six starts this campaign, including two wins. Shapes as one to consider. FORCE GATE (9) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 1600m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten one length. Nicely placed to go one better.
