GIFTED BLACK (1) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. That followed a win at Mizusawa at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. RYUNO HINAGIKU (8) is a 10-start maiden who wasn't far away last time when second over 1400m at this track on July 22. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. One to consider. CORVINA (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 3 lengths over 1200m at this track. Likely to be there at the finish again.
