Just a modest tempo anticipated. CORPUS CHRISTI (1) has been safely held at his last couple of runs, the latest when tenth over 1200m at Kokura. Forgive the last couple in tougher company. Hard to beat this time dropping right back in grade. CLEVER PIKO (9) was well in commission last start over 1400m at this track when fifth. Jumped favourite on that occasion back in grade but has run better figures prior. Worth another chance. KEEP SO CUTE (5) has not appeared since she finished fifth over 1500m at this track on May 27. Credentials hard to fault. LOGI MIZAI (3) was fourth at the second run back from a break in a 1400m contest at this track two weeks ago. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
