Expecting Dandy's Gem to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. PRINCE OF DALA (1) drew inside last start and didn't look comfortable, racing keenly when beaten as the race favourite. Drawing further out this time looks a big tick and he can continue to work through the grades. Not beaten far despite the issues last start and he can bounce back to winning ways. DOMINATUS (3) flew home to just miss in the Listed Challenge Stakes over 1500m last campaign and comes here after trying his luck over further en route to the Derby. Off a 70-day freshen with a trial between, he's shown he's better than this grade already. Likely to be spotting them a start but watch for him late. WYNN LAS VEGAS (5) is another coming back from the Derby and he showed he was effective over this trip before tackling the longer journeys. Pike hops back on board today and a forward showing is expected on the fresh side. HARD SOLO (6) can bounce back to form in this more suitable assignment. SWEET SURRENDER (8) is next best on resumption. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Prince Of Dala on top.
