Genuine pace with Shank Doll taking up the running ahead of Top Dia and Pompelmo. SHANK DOLL (12) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1600m at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. TOP DIA (9) was a gutsy winner two runs back then finished fourth over 1600m at this track on April 13. Reunites with Keita Nishi who has two wins from three rides. Best form puts him right in this. NOAH SANSAN (7) was below her best last start when beaten 7 lengths into sixth over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to turn things around. POSITANO (3) turned in another moderate effort last start when 18 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1600m at this track. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
