GOING: S

Sportsbet Behemoth Stakes 1200m

Track: Soft 6   Rain (Max: 15)   Rail: +4m 1200m-W/Post, True Remainder. . (Pent: 6.25)

Expecting Wild Imagination to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. RECOMMENDATION (2) is a five-time Stakes winner that hasn't been beaten far in his last two runs in strong sprint races in Melbourne. He likes it soft and has drawn the inside gate. He will roll forward and be very hard to catch. Where is the ceiling for emerging filly CICALA (9)? We may find out on Saturday but there's no reason to the think the mare can't be in the finish again. She was tough when winning the Lightning Stakes and, although this looks harder, she might be pretty good. LINGANI (7) bolted in on a wet track last time and can repeat the dose if it's soft or heavy again. Expect IS IT ME (3) to run a big race fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Recommendation to win.
