Pace only fair with Greater Hope rolling to the lead ahead of Stroganoff and Decided. GREATER HOPE (9) went forward over 2400m at this track last time and held on for second. Has the gate speed to negate a tricky draw. Record at this track is strong. Will be hard to stop. STROGANOFF (5) started at $2.90 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best, finishing fifth over 2400m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. SEVEN GO (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1600m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. MITSUKANE MARS (8) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching third over 2400m at this track. Will be tough to stop again.
