Is in top form this preparation, chalking-up two wins. Expected to be in the finish. TOKUSHI TIGRE (7) produced a reasonable effort to finish 1.75 lengths away in fourth last start over 2000m at this track. That followed a first-up win at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. GONZAGO (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1600m. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. MAONO GENIE (8) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
