Strong early tempo with Suruga Bijin and Jun Fort leading the way. COCO MISSILE (5) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fifth. Could prove hard to hold out. SURUGA BIJIN (6) finished third over 1600m at this track on debut five-and-a-half months ago and has been kept under wraps since. Likely improver and should feature in the finish. CAREX (9) is a four-start maiden who finished seventh when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at this track. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. LAUREN MONT BLANC (7) was below his best last time, finishing eighth over 1400m at this track. Finds a nice race and can atone.
