Expecting Paint It Red to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. PAINT IT RED (1) led and bolted in first-up before tackling much stronger company most recently, fading out of contention in the straight. The blinkers go on now and the claim of Webster is a big tick. Can bounce back to winning ways third-up and back to an easier race. BRAVE WASP (2) got the job done in a photo finish fresh over this track and trip and this looks to set up similarly. That was his first run for the new stable and he was just too good there as the race favourite. Fitter for that run and with the visors replacing the blinkers, he can raise the bar. NEW TARGET (4) was strong throughout her last campaign and her latest trial suggests she's back in good order. Will need some luck from the barrier, but she's won 2/3 here previously and a forward showing is on the cards. MAI ALOHA (5) comes in without a trial but draws the inside for Pike. Has placed 3/5 fresh and can't be left out. SESH (6) has to be included as he looks for the hat-trick. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Paint It Red.
