A solid tempo on the cards with Hiroshikun leading the way. HIROSHIKUN (2) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. COSMO FREUDE (6) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 9 lengths over 1800m at Morioka Dirt. Finds an easier assignment and can bounce back. HYUGO (1) was safely held when ninth last time out over 1800m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 12 lengths. That followed a win at Morioka Dirt at the previous outing. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. KITANO BRIDE (4) turned in an eye-catching run over this journey last time, settling out the back before winding up late to finish 8 lengths away in fourth at Morioka Dirt. Must be included.
