Had plenty on his rivals last time and will be hard to beat again. ASHAKA DUMEY (3) finished second last time out over this course and distance, travelling towards the tail before winding up strongly in the dying stages. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. SHONAN ATTRAIT (4) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a second most recently over 1230m at this track when beaten 1.5 lengths. Has a solid record at this circuit. Expected to run well. ASTRUD (9) resumes from a spell of four months and is having her first outing under new trainer Ikkoo Tanaka. Finished tenth at Kokura over 1800m at the opening run last time in work. Should be primed for this.
