Race 11 1600m Track: |

There should be a bit of pressure with Taisei Monstre and Smart Hunter pressing forward in advance of Apollo Planet and Jolly Roger. APOLLO PLANET (8) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 1.3 lengths over 1400m at Morioka Dirt as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with three wins and two minor placings from six outings. Leading player again. SMART HUNTER (4) is in top form, most recently recording a win by a neck over 1400m at Morioka Dirt to make it two in a row. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Leading contender. JOLLY ROGER (7) turned in a disappointing run last time out over 1600m at Morioka Dirt after a nice win the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. WINNING LIVE (2) could only manage eighth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, beaten just a nose. Well placed to run top-three again.
