Good early pressure anticipated with a large number of unraced runners. WRITTEN BY BETSY (9) is a Written By filly on debut for the Sarah Rutten stable. Has progressed nicely at the trials and draws favourably for Collett who sticks from her recent trial placing. Looks set for a bright start to her career. MEADOWS FLYER (10) returns for the Bates team. Has always shown good signs in her lead-up work but is yet to convert on race day, though she has tackled some tough company. Has once again trialled sharply in readiness and is worth a big watch. BELLA ANGELICA (11) is another that resumes and strips fitter for two sharp jumpouts. Has run well here before, placing over this trip back in November. From a sharp stable and has to be taken seriously. VOSSTANIYA (8) is a Russian Revolution filly on debut for the Jackson camp that has shown enough in her lead-up work to suggest she can play a role on debut.
