Strong tempo assured with Tassie Power and Thin Red Line leading the way over Currencies. LYCO RECO (7) came off Stakes races and looked a run short first up over this trip. He races on pace and the top hoop sticks aboard. Will race over further but can pick this up along the way. THONATUS (3) comes out of the same race and missed a whisker. Maps for the run of the race and will go close. TASSIE POWER (9) peaks off the near miss here and gives every indication the mile will suit. Maps well and has plenty of scope for improvement. ORISKANY (13) hasn't captured her best Victorian form but is fourth up now over longer and finally draws an inside gate. The blinkers go on again. THIN RED LINE (2) is hard to catch but gets in well with the 3kg claim and may be the best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Lyco Reco.
