Ryo Novata who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Sure to run well. CRITICAL HIT (12) opened this campaign last start with a second, beaten 3 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Has a sound record here with three wins and five minor placings from 13 starts. Credentials hard to knock. HEISHIRIN (5) finished second at this track and distance at his last appearance three months ago. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. MARUYO JORDAN (14) was safely held last time when beaten 19 lengths into 15th at today's course and distance after meeting with market support. Has a wide gate to contend with again. Should improve.
