Mogo Magic and Teylu to take up the running at a strong tempo. BANDI'S BOY (6) has been mixing his form in town this prep but has had genuine excuses when finishing down the track. His run three back at Rosehill behind Modella lines up beautifully for this and if Ford can find a back to follow with cover, he will be awfully hard to hold out late. RUE DE ROYALE (5) has been rock solid all campaign and it’s hard to see him not featuring again. The draw is a little sticky but he gets in light and has enough early dash to offset it. ROYAL INSIGNIA (4) returns a gelding for the sharp Grahame Begg yard and looks to have come on a treat since the ultimate gear change, winning both recent jump-outs. He boasts a strong 1200m record and draws kindly. One of the main hopes. POINT AND SHOOT (3) burst up the inside for a good win first up at Rosehill. He has always looked a handy type but may find himself in a tricky spot again from the inside alley. FINE VINTAGE (8) has been set for this and arrives in perfect order after a strong win in town last start. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bandi's Boy to win.
