Dawdling affair devoid of a pacemaker. G T UNKAI (4) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1400m at this track, scoring by a head. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he looks certain to measure up again. MACHU (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of another big performance. HYPER CALL (6) comes here following a win over 1400m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Can give this a shake. AFRICAN BLACK (1) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when third over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
