The Rush and Champeze will settle forward and can set a moderate tempo. DEEP DISCRETION (2) had been busting to win and capped the form with an easy win over 1203M at the track. He's placed 3/4 here over this longer sprint. Doubt the inside barrier is ideal, but he can go back-to-back if the splits come. SALVADO (12) comes out of the same race and didn't manage the 12 barrier. Had won first up and placed the start following, and from an inside barrier can get back on track. SHAKA ZULU (3) brings strong Albany form to the table. He's had four starts since a 663-day break and keeps improving. Has won 2/4 over this distance, and Faithfull will give him every chance. MASTER ALEX (5) would be very competitive at best and has won twice second-up. Has the blinkers on again and maps for a soft run. Could improve quickly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Deep Discretion appeals most.
