GOD BAROQUE (4) scored by 5 lengths first up from a spell last time out over 1400m at Mizusawa. Has never missed the frame at this course, including three wins and three placings. Expect a bold showing. MARRON SOLEIL (11) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 2.25 lengths away in third when resuming last start over 1700m at this track. Record here is impressive with two wins from six starts. Will prove tough to beat. SAYONAKIDORI (7) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Ohi over 1200m. Form at this track is solid. Expected to run well. BELLAGIO EMPEROR (10) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 1200m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
