Plenty of pace from Ange Luna, Civic Fourwheel and Hesperis vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. ANGE LUNA (7) is a promising type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Has won six on end now, the latest scoring over 1500m at Urawa. Won only start here and looks hard to beat again. BLAZE EDGE (3) strode forward early from her wide draw last start over 1500m at Urawa then fought on gamely to finish second. Likely improver with strong prospects. HESPERIS (8) turned in a fine effort to win by 4 lengths at this track and distance when resuming from a spell last time out. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. PRINCESS DAISY (9) got the prize two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when second over 1800m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. In contention this time.
