Pace only fair with Cantilever rolling to the lead ahead of Desert Sleeve and Southland. SOUTHLAND (2) is third-up seeking the hat-trick. Has been settling back and finishing hard and the step up to 1403m looks ideal. Has a much better gate today, and he will take plenty of beating. CANTILEVER (1) won over this trip and was beaten 2.7L back in trip behind the above following. Keep the 2kg claim and can settle closer today. Can bounce back into contention. LET'S SEA (4) ran a better race last start, finishing 0.9 lengths away over 1850m at Dongara. Missed a nose this track/trip three back, and the smaller field suits his racing style. PATCHWORK (3) did a good job placing here this and was outgraded over a middle distance the latest. Switches back to the 1619m and a better effort is likely. The blinkers come off MIFF MUFFERED MOOF (5), and she will be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Southland to win.
