Genuine pace with Another Mission taking up the running ahead of Dwight and Copartner Pegasus.
YESZEM (7) went back from a wide draw then stoked up nicely in the closing stages to grab third when resuming over 1200m at Gosford last start. Sparingly raced filly who will enjoy the extra 150m today. No luck again at the barrier draw but with a good ride from Schiller she can get the chocolates. BRITISH GEM (8) has a similar profile to Yeszem. Started this prep as favourite over 1300m at Scone but after travelling in the back half of the field could only charge home into third. Ran second over today's journey at Doomben when second-up last prep. Sure to make her presence felt. COPARTNER PEGASUS (4) made late inroads to finish fourth when fresh from a spell in the same race as Yeszem recently. Handy type who should be thereabouts again. CLASSIC TWO (1) came across from Hong Kong and had his first run in 14 months when an impressive third at Hawkesbury last start. Can improve a lot on that run which puts him in contention. Bit of a gap to MOANA GOLD (10) who is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: The top four picks all hold appeal - leaning to Yeszem.
