Genuine tempo with Treasure Hunter to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. REEL CRYSTAL (12) came from a mile back to grab fourth when resuming here earlier this month and now draws much kinder. The extra 100m is ideal and a bold showing is very much on the cards. DEMI GOD (6) rattled home to score impressively here on Christmas Eve when last sighted at this venue. Has been less effective on rain-affected tracks against tougher opposition of late but has since been freshened and back onto firmer footing, he can give this a big shake. BRAZEN CRIME (1) will be hoping they roll along up front and if they do he’ll be one of the strongest late. If he’s not spotting them too big a start on the turn, he can give them a real scare. TESSARION (11) will need luck from the wide draw but is another who can get motoring late if the race shape allows. SPREAD THE LOVE (4) looks one of the main pace influences. Dropped out quickly here last time but is more than capable of bouncing back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going Reel Crystal & Demi God each-way.
