Expecting Fairway To Heaven to take up the running with Into Brooklyn and Cosmolicious close at hand.
INTO BROOKLYN (4) had been racing well all prep and deserved her win in a similar race to this at Gosford three weeks ago. Getting up in the weights but has drawn to enjoy an economical run and another win is not out of reach. HONEY PERFUME (2) recorded just her second win and 13th top three finish from 14 starts with a hard-fought victory over 1000m at Canberra last time out. Yet to miss the frame in six runs at this trip and she should build on that record today. FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (5) led for home but found one too strong in the closing stages of a BM64 over this distance at Hawkesbury recently. That run followed a six-week let-up so she will tighten up and be harder to peg back this time. DIVINE VICKY (1) missed the kick and was never a factor when resuming at Gosford last start. Good enough to put that behind her and play a significant role. SINGING STAR (6) hasn't won for a while but has been in the placings at all five runs over 1100m. A must for the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Some honest fillies and mares converge - Into Brooklyn just on top.
