Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. SMART KINGDOM (9) started at $2.90 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 2 lengths, at this track over 1500m. Reunites with Osamu Shimohara who has nine wins from 19 rides. Well placed and should be in the finish. INJECTION (1) has been racing in great heart, lifting strongly to score over 1500m at this track at the most recent appearance to make it two straight victories. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Will be in this for a long way. QUICK QUEEN (8) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 1400m at this track. Well placed and is among the chances.
