DAWN SURPRISE (9) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Greyville with success as favourite over 1200m at Greyville All Weather three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Has won three of last five. Got the job done last time and is a leading hope again. LITTLEBLACKGEM (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Greyville, finishing second and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1200m after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TAKE YOUR PLACE (5) is having her second run back from a break after she failed to threaten first up over 1200m at Greyville All Weather, beaten 6 lengths. Expected to do far better this time.
