Denman Force should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. CHICO CASINO (3) tackled a similar race over this course and distance last start but could only struggle into a distant third on a sloppy track. Very fit and with the prospect of a slightly firmer surface he gets his chance. DENMAN FORCE (8) returned from a seven-month spell and was facing the starter for only the second time when a cheeky third over this trip at Dubbo last time out, leading until collared late. Kept fresh since that outing and is sure to give backers a great sight. DESIROUS (4) made it four top-three finishes in a row when she led but found one better in the same race as Chico Casino here recently. Distance specialist who gets all the favours from the inside gate and should give a good account again. BRUMMAGEN (6) finds it hard to win but his close third here at this trip last time, albeit in a weaker race, brings him under notice. DENMAN BANDIT (7) can improve on a closing fourth when resuming over this distance at Dubbo last time out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chico Casino looks ready to win.
