Plenty of pace with Prairie Legend and Leila Belle up front, pressured by Allusive Intent and King Lesong. ALLUSIVE INTENT (5) looks hard to beat in an ordinary maiden. Has been handy enough on the turn but just lacked a killer blow in his three runs to date. Enjoys the run of the race from the inside alley and it is doubtful any of these can beat him if he runs to his best. NIGHTWALKER (2) has raced 33 times for an incredible 15 minor placings. Added to that unenviable record last start over 1300m at Dubbo. Has placed nine times here including six from seven at this distance. A must for trifecta and first four punters. LEILA BELLE (6) is back after an 11-month spell. Has only raced once since her November 2024 debut when down the track at Wagga in April. In the market at both starts so probably has more to offer. KING LESONG (1) was beaten under two lengths over today's journey at Dubbo three back. Chance if he found that form. WIRE TO WIRE (4) might find this too short but can collect a minor prize without surprising. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Allusive Intent.
